i think noone really hates: cnn.
,,
i think that some of us who r: let's see: 5 years from 40
.
have lost trust in any form of "the news"
.
which may be a balanced or an unbalanced ideaology.
.
this is one reason why i do not watch the news anymore.
.
i used to watch all news: religiously and read all papers religiously
here and abroad.
.
conservative/ and dove[uhhh, republicans call democrats "doves"]
i have never really chosen either side, just went with the times
even tho i would say : igrew up | republican
.
i more or less was always watching, reading to find out what was going on here | stateside
and any where abroad.
..
BUT : my dad was semper fi
and i was aware : OF abroad
at an early age
and have been thru a few presidential seats.
[born 1971]
..
i am not old, nor am i young.
..
but i have seen strange and good, and bad, and weird.
.
and came to the conclusion by mid-twenties that the "news"
whether liberal or conservative was always puttin a spin
.
and forget about local news:
which just tries to keep me aware that my neighborhood is filled with crime and my lipstick [HA! which i don't wear] might kill me within the next 5 minutes if i don't STAY TUNED IN.
.
at the same time:
i love this country and believe in great journalism
and to even write this outloud goes against my own code of ethics:
it is a propoganda of it's own, or a spin of it's own
.
so: just take it with grain of salt.
.
because when it comes down to it:
i am just a person/girl who doesn't know jack about what.
.
meaning:
"i like colors, don't you too?"

No, I think that might be part of the reason the rest of us don't comment on such events as well. These are things that everyone pretty much already knows about and has an already well-formed opinion, so we're not saying anything new. And the "not unaffected, but in contrast to those truly affected" is it exactly. The nail on the head, so to speak.
Point goes to the dismarum.

What's with the CNN hating?
