[this is me, talking to you]

I bought some random accessories for my Holga camera earlier today; a 35mm film adapter and a cable release conversion kit, to be exact. I think I need to be more spontaneous. I’ve done nothing creative for at least a year.

I’m considering making a short film - and when I say short, I mean short. Like 10 minutes, tops. I don’t know how or what the plot would be, but the idea makes me happy. Hell, it might even be me narrating over a series of snapshots. I’ve just suddenly decided within the past couple of days that I should do something with audio. I’ll probably lose all motivation for this within the next few hours of thinking it over though, so don’t expect anything and you won’t be disappointed. Not that you’d be excited about it or anything. And not that I’d even put it anywhere where anyone could see. Hrmph. Yeah.

I have three abandoned comic ideas sitting on my drafting table.

1. Elliot, Watson, et. al.
2. Vampire adaptation story
3. The insomniac dream guy

Thredd, you’re pretty.

On an unrelated train of thought that seems to be chugging along at the same time as the above, I find myself –

I left this post in mid-sentence up there about an hour ago and came back to it just now. I’ve forgotten where to find myself. So I’ll just leave it at that.

The last random accessories I bought for my camera were some cokin graduated neutral density filters along with the holder. I haven’t gotten a chance to try them out yet (or I haven’t made time to use them yet). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduated_ND_filter
I’ve been meaning to get a tripod for quite some time now.

I am currently learning how to make a photo montage thingy in Adobe Premiere.
Not this year, but at some point in the near future I will be working on some films, I just need to save up enough money to get the camera that I want.
