[i’m going to throw up]

Here’s an update for you.

- I’ve been sick. I mean incapacitating flu sick. I called in for the first time in a year and four months of having my job.

- Today is my interview for that promotion I’m up for. There are two positions and four people applying. One of my selling points was that I’ve never taken a sick day in a year and four months. I now have to amend that to one sick day out of roughly 487 days of employment. Still not too shabby.

- Holy crap, I’m nervous. If any of you all pray, say a couple for me.

- My right eye has been twitching steadily for the past week or so, a sure sign of me being stressed. I blame it on the upcoming school year, this interview, and a lack of sleep. It was pointed out to me over Blue Moons that I’ve been giving “REALLY evil looks of disgust” to everyone recently, when in reality I’ve been squinting out of self-consciousness and not glaring around. Apparently everyone ranging from my boyfriend, co-workers, some friends, and my family have thought I was hella pissed at them. I haven’t been. In case you fall into the above category and haven’t been informed - I’m not mad at you. My eye is just twitching. I’m not glaring, I’m squinting.

- I think it’s funny that some things can only be brought up comfortably in a bar over a good wheat beer.

- It’s time for Music o’ the Week:

kerby - Band Of Horses, The Perishers

- I’m done, for now.
