[this is way down]
I hate local commercials. They’re always awful. I understand you’re on a budget, but there’s a difference between being cheap and being tacky. Cheap doesn’t always have to equal tacky. I’m not expecting pyrotechnics or something to dazzle my eyes. I’m just hoping it’s not crap. Really, pissing me off with your lame commercial isn’t a way to get me to be a consumer of your product and/or services.
Now that I have that out of the way, here’s what’s been going on with me:
- I’m learning how to sew. No, really. I am. I even have a sewing machine set up. Expect wonderful craftsy blogs from me in the (probably very) distant future.
- jane and I are off to snowy Colorado on Nov 3 to visit kerbey and see Tegan & Sara. I bought my ticket and am currently knitting a scarf/glove combo to protect my west Texas skin from the cold. I am insanely elated.
- I’m trying to be more productive with my free time, as I know it’s a gift that I will not have for much longer. I think I need to appreciate it, as I know some who have none and if I could, I would surely give them part of mine and then some.
- I’m getting better at life, even though it’s not quite going the way I thought it should. When I say this, I mean that I’m not where I want to be, but I’m getting better at being where I’m at. This, I suppose, is an improvement over losing at life.
- Speaking of losing at things, I bought Halo 3. It’s pretty cool. If you have an X Box Live account, look up Dismarum.
I’m bored writing things now. Indulge my abrupt ending to this post with my apologies.
