I get really annoyed by androgyny. I know some people find it attractive, but really, I just find it pretty antagonizing towards my senses. I want to know if you’re a boy or a girl. It’s just frustrating not knowing either way. Before I start sounding like a conservative asshat, I’m not saying that all girls should wear dresses and have long hair or guys should be mountain men etc etc. Pushing conventional boundaries on appearance is fine with me if that’s your thing. More power to you. But for the sake of social interaction, please give a little bit of a clue as to if you are male or female. Actually, I really don’t even care if you ARE male or female and choose to convincingly cross-dress. As long as you’re going with one of the two. Don’t look like you could possibly be either/or. Pick one.

I obviously had a problem distinguishing a guy/girl today. I’m already socially awkward. Don’t make it any harder on me, please.
