I will admit to watching Idol the season that Carrie and Bo Bice were on it. AND I voted. Ha. I don't know who the Jonas Brothers are, either. I made the mistake of not knowing who Zack Efron (Ephron?) is once and was almost mauled by all the girls at youth group (including one freshman in college). I think the more important questions are: Sure, we don't know the Jonas Brothers, but have the kids today even seen Risky Business? Will they recognize the scene or just get excited about Idol boys dancing in their underwear? If we tell them that it was originally a Tom Cruise thing, will they be disgusted about the concept of an old man dancing in underwear? Or will they say, 'Isn't he Katie Holmes' husband?'" I don't want to know the answers to those questions. Who are those guys in the commercials? Are those Idols?
