[you are making me tired]

I think I do an equal amount of time goofing off on my work computer as I do actually working. Having a desk job is pretty cool, outside of the fact I have to spend all of the upcoming Friday in meetings and I do occasionally get bored.

I was talking to a co-worker who works in the men’s 28 day residential program the other day about letter writing. A year ago he bought a roll of stamps to hand out freely to any client who wanted to write to their loved ones; he still has the majority of the roll left. Apparently older men who have been in prison seem to be the best authors, their words of adoration carried by beautifully drawn upon envelopes. I was never a fan of the phone in particular and have typically regulated anything important I have ever had to say to the written word, most often due to the idea that I can read and smooth over exactly what it is I have to say. When phrased like that, letter writing seems kinda sheisty.

Does anyone outside of prison or the military write letters anymore?

I should actually do some work. I have case files piled up by my monitor begging for attention.

I love writing letters. Sadly, I rarely ever have the time or a good reason to do so.

I might need a job when I return to Lubbock.
