The one about Jesus shirts & Satan billboards.

Here’s what’s going on with Jane, in a nutshell:
1. I have no home, other than half a storage shed and the place at my aunt’s where I sleep.
2. I’m gearing up for our China trip at the end of this month and so ridiculously excited about it, like you don’t even know.
3. All technology suddenly hates me. I understand why my phone might not be so fond of me, considering I left it on top of my car and allowed it to fly off onto the road while I was driving. But my Macbook dying, my desktop monitor refusing to work, and now being completely unable to access the interweb on my computer? Lame. Also, my aunt’s computer has the default font set permanently to Comic Sans (seriously, she gets upset if I want to change it), so it’s pretty much salt in the open wound.
4. I’m still working with our youth group at church, and have accepted a position to work with the young kids on Saturday nights. I love it. I love love love my church, and I love love love these kids.
5. Overall, I’m exhausted, super-busy, and completely joyous. God has been so, so good to me. Sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that really, I can’t complain. What I don’t have pales in comparison to what I do have.

Some other things:
1. Jesus Branded is a fantastic and magical place on the internets. They sell Christian apparel that isn’t, well, lame. Not to say those pun shirts you can find everywhere else aren’t nice, but I get tired of seeing the same Sunday School sentiments in every Christian bookstore. Jesus Branded has great ideas, great options, and, most importantly, great design. I own this hoodie, and I love it. Plus, me blogging about them now is going to net me a free shirt (I add this in the interest of full disclosure). But really, we all now how I am about product endorsements. Really, I need to have my own cable access station. In case you missed it, that link is here: Christian Apparel.
2. My home church is rather innovative. I got a call from a friend of mine this evening saying she just saw a billboard that read, “Boycott Experience Life” with a URL underneath, SatanHatesChurch.com. I was appalled and called Chris, our pastor, right away. He laughed and said they put them up. Right now there are three billboards around town, and it’s the idea of all those God billboards in reverse. It’s different, that’s for sure. But so is our church, actually. Anyway. I love it.
3. Just remembered: in case you haven’t seen this already, I’m among a large group giving our cardboard testimonies at church this weekend. It’s a great idea and very moving. I’m curious what each of yours would say. Or if you’re stuck on the first side of the cardboard and can’t get to the second, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to pray with you and talk to you about it. Okay.

And to all you TD&Co.-ers: you can start blogging now, you know.
That is all.

Peace, love, and free shirts with great designs.
