My projects from work are exceedingly mind-numbing. For example, right now I’m supposed to be updating a tabulation sheet, which has to rival Moby Dick in size. I am not exaggerating. I’ve wisely decided to put it off. I described something as “ghetto” to one of my co-workers (I am, undoubtedly, the youngest person here) and experienced the strange phenomena of it trickling into the office vernacular. This 50 year old woman laughs whenever she says it. It makes me laugh too.

Speaking of laughter, Tim brought me back a shirt from Blizzcon and a talking Pandaren Brewmaster bottle opener, which makes me giggle every time I use it. You should go read about his adventures there.

The new WoW login screen is pretty.

I spent about 30 minutes yesterday attempting to get the most basic of my mods back in working order and another 5 minutes harassing the three people in my guild who were unfortunate enough to max out Inscription and scored Glyph of Improved Scorch. I also went with Improved Mana Gem (not Evocation), and threw in a Polymorph: Penguin for giggles; for some reason, my focus macro keeps on making it Pig no matter how I set it, which is particularly odd because it was always set to Sheep before. While still using the exact same macro for test purposes, it comes up Pig now and continues to do so no matter what alterations I make. Weird. Well whatever. Ohhh and SCT breaking and having to install Parrot turned out to be awesome. I can set a trigger for it to make a sound each time Hot Streak procs for my insta-pyroblast. Finally a reason to have it on my main hotkey line. I also installed Quartz on a whim just to test it out and I’m really enjoying it so far. I don’t like how Pitbull had my cast bar on my character bar, plus it keeps up with how long is left on my buffs/debuffs on whatever it is I have targeted in real-time. That makes it particularly handy for keeping track on whatever it is that’s focus sheeped and for maximum scorch efficiency. Derith is officially 3.0 streamlined.

So I have about two or three weeks to get my alt undead priest to 70, with her awesome level 30 gear and the level 60-70 grind ahead of me. Hahahahah haha……ha. I really don’t want to have to pay for mana pots in Northrend or farm whatever it is that is the equivalent to primals after grinding through dailies for gold. I’m motivated.

I wish I was that motivated to start working on this stupid tabulation sheet.
