So, is this like a new game? Or does it add something to the game, like an expansion? I don’t understand, but the box is pretty.

It’s yet another soul-sucking expansion destined to drain away her free time from her friends while she fights the virtual cold war in the virtual north pole. Not even Rocky can save her social life this time.

Oh my gosh, I didn’t hang out ONE time because of a raid I signed up to go to like a week in advance. You’re blocking out the “…well I have to raid” litany I got from you when BC was out and I wanted to play Guitar Hero 2.

I feel like Rock Band made up for GH2. Besides, I was just forewarning your friends about your lack of involvement in their lives for a bit.

To answer your inital question, Krystal, it’s an expansion. It adds new areas, new skills, 10 more levels, new dungeons/boss fights, etc.
Oh and my sad sad lack of multiplayer achievements accomplished in GH2 will argue with you on one point.

Just to give you some perspective, you go on three-four hour raids in a world that doesn’t exist and you STILL have a better social life than me.
I’m jealous for now, but next week I will be spending a lot of time with my Wii, as Tomb Raider: Underworld comes out on Tuesday. : )

Oh and of course, I’ll also have to grade next week and write a 20-25 page paper…that’s typical. Sigh…

I dunno about this Tomb Raider: Underworld thing for Wii…. You should be playing in no particular order: Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Okami, Rock Band 1 (they just dropped the price on it to $100), Guitar Hero 3 or World Tour, Mega Man 9, Super Smash Bro. Brawl, or Tales of Symphonia 2 or Dawn of the New World.

Oh yeah and Chrono Trigger DS comes out the week after next. Xbox owners the new Xbox Live Experience comes out next Wednesday too!

I’ve played Twilight Princess, but on the Gamecube. I need to get it for Wii so it will be easier to wield the sword like Link. I’m not into the whole fake guitar thing. If I’m gonna learn to play it’s gonna be the real thing. Games are so expensive…I hate being poor.

Oh sure, everyone says the fake plastic guitar isn’t cool until you do it and you fall madly in love with it. Alternately, you can play the drums which are more authentic to the experience.

I’m also horribly uncoordinated and cannot possibly play guitar, real or fake. Drums might be okay though…

That’s what everyone thinks until they play it and unleashes their inner rock guru! Also, drums require a bit of coordination as well. Ask Ashley.
